School Visits
It is an honor for me to visit schools and talk about my illustrations and books with students. I usually combine presentations with one of the authors with whom I have collaborated because we think that our picture books are a symbiotic combination of both words and pictures—each cannot effectively exist without the other. Each of us describes our own individual creative process and together, we discuss the combined creation of our picture books.
A typical day includes four or five individual programs, each lasting 45-50 minutes targeted to the age group of the children. We often include a slide presentation, hands-on activities and a question and answer session.
Our combined professional fee for each presentation is $250.00 or $1000.00 per day.
